The Ten Virgins & The State of the Economy

This was a Word dropped in my spirit on October 27th, 2024 and now I’m finally able to type this out. One of my favorite parables in the Bible is the parable of the 10 virgins, for multiple reasons.

If you think about the concept of the parable, it’s really about oil. The wise had oil along with the foolish. The catch is this: when it was time to meet the bridegroom, the foolish had squandered it for whatever reason. With that said, the foolish decided to go to the wise and say, look, give us your oil because our lamps have gone out. So why did it go out? I mentioned that they squandered it, probably because they were thinking they could just bum some off of the wise. The wise were saying, not so, unless there be enough for us and you, but you need to go and get your own oil.

Let’s take that and apply it here. If you really think about it, this is dealing with salvation and your eternal destiny. Because near the end of that passage, the foolish virgins were denied access into the door managed by the bridegroom. Here we are, October 27th, 2024. All over the place we see inflation and mass chaos within the state of the economy.

Now let’s shift the word oil to food. Now, this is going to be a warning. There are going to be some people wasting their time wasting their money on who knows what. This is just going to be a small indicator of the wise versus the foolish as it relates to their time, their resources, and this is a microcosm of where they are spiritually. They’re not prepared and food is just the first attack. There will be more involved because what’s going to happen is the foolish people are going to come to the wise and say, oh, give us your food for we have no food.

Now let me throw a caveat in that. Yes, we are supposed to be a distribution center, but at the same token, there’s a difference between a hand up versus a handout. You see, there are going to be some foolish people coming up to you saying, oh, give us your food because our food is going out.

And what have they done the whole time? Nobody knows but them and God. Now, this message is not to the world. The world is going to do their own thing, but I’m talking about believers who are unprepared for the times we are living in.

You see, if they’re unprepared before the rapture, they will definitely be unprepared 9 times out of 10 after the rapture during the tribulation. What will happen in the tribulation is simple: a lot of stealing, robbing, mugging and who knows what else. Now we as wise need to be very cognizant of that as we will be approached by the foolish. Many will want your food and like they did with theirs, waste it. They’re not thinking about you, they’re thinking about themselves and their bottom line.

They’re not even trying to even get their lives right. So if they mismanage their time, their resources and their eternal salvation, the advice would be the same as the wise, not so. What I’m saying in this, be prepared as one disaster could create a catastrophe for many people.

If the foolish are unprepared, and you dine them out, it’s almost like throwing good after bad. This needs to be heard loud and clear. We are to be a distribution center, but seek Holy Spirit as to who to give to. Not everybody wants to get better, they just want to leech off of you and stay as they are. This is the time where people are being exposed, so stay watchful in these times!

Blessings,
